Meet the Therapists of Tri-State Physical Therapy
Ben Kivlan, MS, PT, SCS, OCS, CSCS

Ben Kivlan MS, PT, SCS, OCS, CSCS joined Tri-State Physical at its inception in May 2005 and served as the Director of Rehabilitation at the Robinson Township and Seven Fields Office locations through July 2013. He currently works part-time as a physical therapist treating patients at the Seven Fields location. Ben is a graduate of Elon College's Exercise/Sport Science Program and the University of Pittsburgh's Physical Therapy Program and has a Master's of Science degree from Duquesne University in Rehabilitation Science. He has achieved recognition as a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He is also credentialed as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Ben is a full-time instructor in the Physical Therapy Department of Duquesne University. He also lectures nationally in the arena of Sports Physical Therapy. He is an active member and contributor to the American Physical Therapy Association and has special interests and expertise in orthopaedic and sports physical therapy, with research interests in anatomy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation of the hip joint as well as use of ASTYM treatment in the management of soft tissue dysfunction.
